We’re inviting all Canadians—including you—to collaborate with us. Share your own unique perspective on this land for inclusion in our online exhibition.
Think for a moment: what’s a major landmark in your life?
A landmark is commonly thought of as a distinct feature of the landscape , something familiar and reliable that helps you find your place, and find your way . But landmarks also take up space in culture, providing a common point of reference, or rallying point .
And landmarks exist in time, too, and live on in memory as significant events in our lives, milestones, or turning points; moments of change that shape who we’ve become no matter what form they take—in the landscape, in shared culture, in time, or in our memory—landmarks are always significant, and packed with meaning .
Whatever you want to share, we invite you to share it now, and enter for a chance to win a trip with via rail.
